Greetings,
This holiday season, we thought you might like a list of toys that can help children build eye-hand coordination, shape and size discrimination, space/distance judgments, and visual thinking skills.
When children play too many computer games and watch too much TV, YouTube or movies, they don’t get the necessary opportunities to develop the visual skills that are critical to academic success.
Toys provide opportunities for overall development, including visual development, which is not provided by a computer or electronic devices. We have included a list of toys which will help develop some of the visual skills necessary for your child's development as well as academic success.
Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving,
Nora Conway, OD & staff
